Processing:
- Cassava tubers are peeled, washed, and grated or crushed to produce a mash.
- The mash is optionally mixed with palm oil and placed in a porous bag.
- The bag is then placed in an adjustable press machine for 1–3 hours to remove excess starchy water.
- The resulting product is sieved and fried, resulting in a dry, creamy-white granular product.
- Yellow Garri:
- Appearance: Granular and dry with a creamy-white color.
- Processing: The roots are fermented, mashed, sieved, and then fried before packaging.
